Wonderful day in May, with a fabulous young couple, waiting for the wedding day in September 2021. Appointment in Siena, finally repopulated with tourists and people around, with the first obligatory stop in Piazza del Campo and then towards the Duomo, the sumptuous Sienese cathedral which with its colors is always the ideal setting for engagement photos and couple portraits. Piazza Iacopo della Quercia offers pretty good corners, so much so that the photos don’t need many special effects! The photo shoot then continues moving through the narrow streets of the city, playing with the small corners of light that the medieval Sienese architecture is capable of giving until the sun goes down. Even if at the beginning of the shooting the typical embarrassment in front of the lens makes itself felt a little, with the passing of the hours Riccardo and Giulia prove to be really good and spontaneous, learning to become more and more familiar with the lens and pose relax and enjoy.

And in fact this is the main purpose of an engagement service, the reason why I usually include it in the wedding package! Knowing the photographer, his way of approaching and his working method is in fact very important for the success of a wedding reportage! If possible, it is in fact good to arrive at the wedding day with a certain confidence and mutual trust, that familiarity that is often underestimated but that can be seen in wedding reportage photos, and how!
