Spring is one of the most beautiful seasons for a wedding in the Crete Senesi area. Between April and June, the landscape becomes incredibly green and soft, with flowing hills, fresh air and longer days filled with natural light. This part of Tuscany feels quiet and authentic during spring, making it perfect for couples dreaming of an intimate and elegant atmosphere surrounded by nature.

Autumn transforms Chianti into one of the most atmospheric wedding destinations in Tuscany. During September and October, the vineyards turn golden, orange and deep red, creating a landscape full of warmth and texture. The softer light of this season makes outdoor dinners, vineyard ceremonies and sunset portraits feel even more intimate and refined. The entire countryside takes on a richer and more cinematic atmosphere that many couples instantly fall in love with.

Summer weddings create a vibrant and very atmospheric experience, especially during sunset and evening receptions outdoors. Long days and warm light make Tuscany particularly scenic during this season. However, July and August can become very hot during the afternoon, especially in the countryside, which is why many couples prefer later ceremonies and relaxed timelines.

Every season in Tuscany offers a different atmosphere, colors and light. As a Tuscany wedding photographer, autumn is personally my favorite season to photograph. The colors become deeper, the sunsets warmer and the light softer throughout the day. The earthy tones of the vineyards and countryside create a natural depth that gives photographs a more emotional and elegant atmosphere, perfectly connected to the Tuscan landscape. I also prefer this season because I’m not a fan of very high temperatures, which can make it harder for couples and guests to fully enjoy the day and move comfortably between locations.
